my dvd drive driver is messed up it says it might be corrupt or missing i has deamon tools installed at the time and the drivers for it got messed up to have any solutions

moxzot, look under system tools for system info and see if the maker of your drive doesn't maintain a website (most do). If so, go there and make sure you have the proper driver. Suspect you were using the one in the now gone software.

There is not a manufacturer driver that I know of for DVD drives. They use the ones built into the Windows OS. You may only need manufacturer driver if you are using DOS.

What may have happened is, your filter drivers for DVD drive may have been messed up. See this for a possible fix.

thanks suatcini that really helped it even fixed deamon tools i think my drivers were unreadable and it fixed them
