cd won't open

Specs: xp pro, 2.0g 256m
i have an older cd "printmaster gold" and have been using it successfully for 3 years. now for some reason it won't open in my cd drive. i get this message "D:\Install Exe - Attempt to access invalid address". other cd's work fine in the drive.

printmaster gold also works fine in similar computers. any suggestions? thanks,

Copy the CD to an USB stick and try to install it from USB stick.

This is not a problem with the CD drive. Sounds like an OS problem. Are you running a 32bit or 64bit OS? You can find out by going to Start -> Control Panel -> System and it should tell your what version you are running and if it is 64bit.

Could be a malware infection on your PC.
Scan C drive with a virus-scanner.
