Hello...
I was recently warned by my AVG virus scan that there was a "hider" Trojan in my cdrom.sys files. AVG "white flagged" it because it couldn't remove the file. When I ran Malwarebytes it deletes the Trojan, AND it looks like it took the cdron.sys with it. Now my cd rom is not detected in software. Device manager says that the driver are all up to date although there are yellow question marks next to it. Any ideas???? Can I copy the cdrom.sys files from another machine and replace them?
Thanks for any help!
