I have a dell computer. Just purchased the digital concepts 50 in 1 cardreader/writer. I attempted to connect to computer and nothing happens. What should I do. Don't have paperwork which came with it.
'digital concepts 50 in 1 cardreader' Include the model number and then search for the drivers.
Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions Cheers
Do I need a driver for my card reader?
Most likely, no. If you are running Windows Vista, Windows XP, or Windows 2000 no driver is needed. A driver is only needed if you are running Windows 98 Second Edition or Windows Millenium Edition (please note our card readers will not work on Windows 98 first edition.)
How do I access my card reader?
There is no software. Your card reader will appear under My Computer as a Removable Disk Drive. You may access it the same way you would acess any other drive.
I checked My Computer and my card reader still doesn't show up. What else can I try?
If you have network drives, an issue with MS Windows may prevent your card reader from being assigned a drive letter correctly. See this link on how to reassign the drive letter.
