Can't run executable

Microsoft Windows server 2003 enterprise

Specs: Win Server 2003
Hi all,

I have an executable that I can execute on a computer running Windows XP without any problems. But when I try to run it on a machine running Windows Server 2003, and I'm logged in as administrator, I just get the error message "This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem".

Does anyone have any idea where I should look into?

Thanks in advance,

Is the app installed on the server or are you trying to run in remotely on the XP box?

Do you mind telling us the name or type of app you are running?

server apps usually don't run on workstations
workstation apps usually don't run on servers

For example you can't run a workstation AntiVirus program on a server.

The application doesn't have a name yet. It's teleconference software I developed.

I used NSIS to create an installer without certificate. Could this be the problem?
