Can't read 2nd partition HDD Dock

Specs: Windows XP
Hi - I'll be grateful for any help you can provide.

My motherboard on my desktop PC burned out, and I didn't feel like replacing it. I wanted to be able to recover my files to my laptop (Win XP SP3), so I picked up a ThermalTake Sata HDD USB docking station.

When I plug it in, I can access the primary partition (5GB) and I can see the other partition as a second 75GB drive. However, the 75GB partition (the one with all my data) shows up as unformatted both in Explorer and Disk Management (under Control Panel).

Does anyone have any ideas how I can access the data on the second partition? Thanks!

A file recovery program?

PC Inspector (freeware)

Zero assumption Recovery
The demo is limited
It will only recover 'up to' four folders per run
But you can make multiple runs

GetDataBack Excellent

Thanks for the ideas. I didn't have any luck with PC Inspector. The second partition was working on the other computer, so I was hoping there was some trick to why I couldn't see it when using the Sata drive as an external. I'll keep looking.
