Facebook support may have an answer: http://www.facebook.com/help/360212...

Are the images saved as a .jpeg file, I don't think Facebook will upload a .bmp file.... might be worth checking!

✔ Best Answer
"Can I change it somehow to jpeg?"

If you don't have a version of MS Paint (in "Accessories") that can change formats, try IrfanView:

"Channeling the spirit of jboy..."

If you do have MSPaint use it to open the bitmap image and then use the "Save As" function to save it has a .jpeg. Try Irfanview as suggested by T-R-A.

There are free image converters here: https://www.google.com.au/search?q=...

Windows & is slightly different to XP but in the top left hand of the tool bar there is an item "File" it has a drop down menu which will allow you to Open, Save, Save As etc, click on Open and in the requester that opens locate your file. I save all my pics to the desktop so that they are easy to find.
