Can't play Youtube videos

Specs: Windows XP, 1GB, Intel
For the past few days I cant play the you tube vodeos on the net. I downloaded updated flash player, and JRE 1.6 etc. Though i can not play the videos. What must be the solution for this? Pls help.

Remove the players again, and he should tell which versions he needs ...

I had the same problem, not just youtube but any videos. I did everything uninstalling, empting the browser cache, making sure active scripts were enabled. I was able to fix this problem by uninstalling IE 8 which rolled back to IE 7 by default. I then noticed after I opened my browser that I had an Icon at the bottom of each page (add-ons) which I had several add-ons disabled. I enabled the add-on and I was back in business.
I'm sure I took the long way around this problem but non the less it's fixed.

I had the same issues... and none of the mentioned solutions worked. I finally discovered that I needed to upgrade my firmware on my router. I have a Linksys and followed these instructions:
The "web interface" they mention is how you make changes to the settings for your router. Default userid and password are blank and "admin", respectively. Solved other issues as well (like slow download speeds for Windows 7).
