Can't open windows media player and others

December 5, 2009 at 07:30:02
Specs: WinXP, 1.80GHz
I have Windows XP Pro service pack 1 and I can't open windows media. I was working fine. Now when I try to open it it says 'An internal application error has occured.' I tried to reboot with the Win XP Pro CD but it says it can't copy a certain file. Can anyone tell me how to fix this? Is it some type of virus or bug? I have a Gateway 80 GB hard drive, 1.80GHz Pentium 4 CPU and 512 MB RAM.
Thanx

I'm curious why you're still clinging to SP1?
