January 30, 2011 at 10:34:37
Specs: Windows XP Home Edition ver. 2002 SP3, Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU N280 @1.66GHz 1.66GHz,0.99GB of Ram
Before i was having the problem "Registry Editor is disabled by your administrator" and i had to download regtools.vbs (VBscript) to enable it to view the regedit. and now...

Im having this problem -.-:

[Opened in Notepad]:

--DJINN--LMKJF#$@SD!!
E!10d.#lN%51Z19*SZx;>

[Execute .reg file]:

Name of file: Register.reg
Description: Registration Entries
Size: 1kb

Cannot Import, The specified file is not a registry script.
You can only Import binary registry files from within the registry editor.

Can anyone help? i was trying to install a cracked version of Driver Genius PRO 10.0.0.526 + Crack-[HB] http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/599... cracked by [HB]

And the readme inside tells me this:

+-------------+
|Install Notes|
+-------------+

- Install the software.

- Replace the crack with original file(s) in the install dir of the app. [C:\Program Files\Driver-Soft\DriverGenius]

- Run the registr file to complete registration.

Don't make silly comments on the torrent if you don't really know how to register the program.

Credits to DJiNN for the crack.

Cracked software is not supported by this forum.
Buy the software and you shouldn't have any problem.

Attempting to manipulate the registry where the registry editor is disabled by your administrator is the best way to get yourself an escorted one way trip to the front door.

I think you are missing something Paulsep.

My post was to say that messing with the registry on a computer that belongs to your employer/college etc with get you fired/expelled etc. Hence the one way escorted trip to the front door.

@paulsep

indeed you are, i already got the meaning of the message when StuartS replied, what i dont understand is your reply to StuartS (coz i thought ur both on the same boat on not supporting piracy) :P

@StuartS

Actually, im the owner of the laptop, im not an employee, or a college student, i run my own buisness, CEO, i guess you meant messing with the registry file will potentially harm the computer and allow virus to run?

i just need the latest drivers for the computers of my office thats running windows 7.. and some drivers dont work, well anyway thanks for the reply guys, i guess id have to buy the product then.

@stuartS

Oh, i get what you just said again just now... you, got me confused by thingking of me saying "Registry Editor is disabled by your administrator" that it was literally disabled by my administrator (a.k.a my boss?), what i meant was i literally get the "Error Message" "Registry Editor is disbled by your administrator" (which is me) when trying to run "regedit", i prolly forgot that i disabled it before and for what reason, as it used to worked before when i type on the run cmd command "regedit"

So theres the clear up ^^, anyway, thanks for the confusing replies guys lol ^^ Peace
