Specs: Windows Vista
I was using windows 7 ultimate days ago
But I discovered that many modern games do not work with it (says close prog now ...etc)
this may be due to my 1GB Ram which must be 2GB to work as i though but they work with 1 GB on xp system
I decided to go back to XP
PUT xp cd , restart , boot , THE FIRST BOOT SCREEN APPEARED FOR 3 SECONDS AND THEN WINDOWS 7 OPENED AUTOMATICALLY
I tried mora than xp cds also the same happened
I thought win 7 is the proplem so I removed it by formatting partition with dos partition magic
trying win xp cd also does not work
the strange thing is that vista cd booted smoothly which i decided to install to type this message
NOTE XP CD WORKED ON OTHER COMPUTERS
I have 5 partitons and was hoping to install in adifferent partition
any help please

But do you still need the dual boot, do you still need Windows 7 ? The issue seems to be that he just wants to re-install Windows XP, destroy multi-boot, destroy partitions, destroy Windows 7, and just install Windows XP.

When you enter the WindowsXP, you SHOULD have the message to press any key to boot from WindowsXP disc, and then intall XP (while performing a format, as proposed during one of the XP install menus).

Or, you could get (at least) 2 Gig, and go for Windows 7 setup
