I put my Dell Dimension 8110 in Standby mode instead of Hibernate. I can't get it out of Standby mode! I have unplugged it and let it sit for over an hour. I disconnected everything and no luck. I have important papers on it and need to get to them. HELP!
All you need to do to get it out of Standby or Hibernate mode is to hold in the power button until the computer shuts off, then press it again to boot it normally. If that doesn't work, there is something else wrong with your computer.
