With all due respect it is hard to imagine how a user could forget a pass word that is used on a daily basis. That said it is not this forums policy to provide help with passwords. The best suggestion offered is to contact Toshiba for help but be prepared to provide sufficient proof of ownership. They are also in a position to provide rescue disks on the receipt of all the identifying information from you.

Just to add - the majority of computers/laptops do NOT come will install disks these days. This cuts down on the cost. Instead of including disks, the manufacturer installs the files on a hidden partition & provides a software utility/program for YOU to create your own disks. This is clearly explained in the documentation that came with the computer. If you never took the time to read the docs & create the disks, you have no one to blame but yourself. Call Toshiba.

caseymachi ... contact the previous owner or Toshiba but be prepared to prove ownership. Password help is not available on this forum. You should also have started your own thread... you have hijacked someone else's
