September 13, 2010 at 06:58:23
Specs: Windows XP
I want to add flash player in chrome with my windows xp machine. I have downloaded the flash player and opened the zip folder. Now I have to add these 2 files : NPSWF32.dll and flashplayer.xpt in my C:\Documents and Settings\Kamrul Hassan\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\Application\Plugins. But the problem is I can as far as Application. There is no Plugins Folder in Application folder. I have added these 2 files in Application folder, and now I am not sure whether the flash player is added with my chrome browser.

Can be mentioned here that my firefox has plugins : shockwave flsh player. I think this is the flash player.

Could someone help me finding the Plugins Folder in my Windows XP.

Doubleclick "My Computer". From the menu, click Tools | Folder Options | View, and set the "Hidden files and folders" to "Show hidden files and folders".
Then browse to the folder "C:\Documents and Settings\Kamrul Hassan\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\Application\Plugins" and copy the files you need to this location.
