Either the extracted files are hidden (Check Folder Options in Control Panel to show hidden files)

Or you do not have a complete set of the archived files
Note: Usually the first archive will have an extension like 00
If you do not have the first file in a group to extract, then the entire archive cannot be extracted

You will need to download (?) the archive fully again
Also note: That many unknown archives can carry hidden malware or rootkits. So only download files from trusted sources

Just scan your entire harddisk for at least one file you know that is stored in one of those RAR files ... it must be somewhere ?!

When extracting, does it take a lot of time ?

Hi,
I don't think the problem is with winrar.
At some time though you may wish to try 7zip (free)
Be sure to go into tools options and select all.

An example or rars is
stuffpart1.rar
stuffpart2.rar
stuffpart3.rar

If stuffpart4.rar is missing it will go through the motions until it cannot find the missing file and error out.

Some sites also have par files included with the rars. Pars will rebuild a corrupt rar.

A second advantage of pars is if you are downloading 75 huge rars........Get the smaller 7?pars...then skip a few of the huge rars. The pars will replace the missing rars.

Some sites still have fake ware. Looks legit until you try to unpack it.

I would google for the program you downloaded and try from another site.
