Sometimes, the Recycle.bin is empty but shows, that it's full.

In most cases you can fix it, by delete an unneeded file to the Recycle.bin and after that, the option to empty Recycle.bin, should be back.

Yep, copy some file or other to another location then delete the copy.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Thanks for responding, Paul, ---- but no - I've tried that and all the options ( apart from close ) aren't highlighted at all i.e. create shortcut, rename, etc., etc. - so I'm stumped....
I ran a FixBee cleanup Programme to clear all the cr*p off the desktop - which worked superbly and speeded things up great - but it recommended that I empty the Recycle Bin to free up more memory - and then I got this - it's no great sweat, but I'd just like to get the job done as they suggested. Please be aware that I'm no expert on these things - they're just useful tools to me for mails and music and stuff.

Cheers,
Pete.

Go here:
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_...

Scroll down to 64 then over on the right there is a fix.
Give it a whirl.

I tend to regard the bin as essential - it's far to easy to delete the wrong thing if you are moving too fast. With the bin you can get it back pronto.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

"Option not highlighted - what's the fix ???"

I think you are talking about your program, set it up as per the screenshot.
