You DO NOT mess with the System Volume Information folder and the files in it if you want Windows to work. It's a read only folder by default, and it's normally hidden, unless you change settings in Folder Options - View to show hidden files and folders.
But this file "system volume information" creates problem in formating windows with norton ghost and acronics because the backup file is shown as "system volume information" and could't be able to format it using these tools.????
if u want to permanently delete system volume info folder then change system restore to disable becoz this folder contain files which ur system used to restore and it is hidden change show hidden file and deleter
