Can't attach file to Yahoo email

Specs: Windows XP
1 file cannot be sent 1 file (0 bytes of 25 MB) Go to the Norton AntiVirus site

I am not able to send a file through attachment in my yahooo account need help now

If I recall correctly, the Yahoo attachment size limit used to be 10MB but was increased to 25MB. If the file is larger than 25MB, it won't work.

Hi Patricia,

expanding on Riider's reply, at the bottom of the list of folders (inbox/sent etc.) on the left of the yahoo screen there are some optional applications.

One 'Attach Large Files' relates to files upto 2gb in size. This may help if the file exceeds the 25mb limit.

However, am puzzled by the Norton Antivirus reference. This suggests yahoo does not 'like' the file due to a possible virus or similar, and wants it removed before allowing attachment.

Please advise back on progress.
