Can't access previous accounts on this laptop

Specs: Windows XP

I am using Tree Size Professional which searches the computer to figure out what's taking up the most space on a hard drive. In this particular event, the files taking up the most space is under a user name which existed prior to restoring & reformating this laptop.

The thing is, I am unable to delete the files which reign under the user name "A1"which is my previous account. After the format, I was asked to make a new user name, which I did.

So I am trying to delete files but I get "Access is Denied", I get the same pop up at the account folder via Documents and Settings.

How can I access this "A1" account?

pS. A1 was an administrator account, so is the one I'm on right now.

In order to access or delete files owned by the old administrator account, you'll need to take ownership of those folders/files using another administrator account. Instructions can be found here:
