Hi I am having a very strange problem on one computer.

I was using a Windows XP SP3 installation and from one day to other I started to have some problems accessing my own blog where I log in everyday to post.

As the Windows installation was several months old and I´ve been testing software, I decided to format and make a clean installation.

I installed Windows XP SP3 (English), then installed Chipset and all other drivers from my Intel DG33BU motherboard (even updated BIOS to latest available version). Then installed all Microsoft Updates until nothing was left, finally installed MSI NX8600GTS Nvidia drivers (latest version).

Afterwards I installed Norton Corporate latest version, just the antivirus no other Symantec stuff.
The some classic stuff as Remote Administrator, Winrar, Office 2007 SP1 (Spanish) with its updates too, Digital Personal Password Manager for my Microsoft Finger Print reader, Internet Download Manager latest version, jre-6u11-windows-i586-p-s.exe (Latest Java), and latest Winamp Pro Player.

I opened Internet Explorer 7, pointed my browser to: on the status (bottom of the screen) it said: “Waiting for” and a couple of seconds later the result is: “Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage”.

Things I tried:

1) Downloaded and installed latest version of FireFox, didn’t work either.
2) Checked HOSTS file. Everything was normal.
3) I could PING and TRACERT without problems.
4) I tried ipconfig /flush dns and also tried the “repair” function on the Network Connection (windows option), no luck.
5) Checked DNS and tried to use OPEN DNS to isolate any problems. No luck. Also tried to put my routers IP as DNS no luck. Also tried with my ISP DNS, no luck.
6) Changed from DHCP to STATIC and vice versa, no luck.
7) Tried direct connection to my ISP´s modem, no luck.
8) Changed MTU size so no fragmentation appear, no luck.

Strange notes:
a) My girlfriend´s notebook can connect wirelessly to my home network and enter without any trouble.

b) I don’t notice I am having a similar problem with any other website than my own blog! 

My Hardware is:
Intel DG33BU Motherboard.
Intel CORE 2 DUO E8500 (3.16 GHZ)
4 GB KINGSTON DDR2 800 RAM (2x2).
MSI NX8600GTS PCI-E Video Card.

Network Router: Linksys WRV200 latest firmware.

I am really driving crazy so I started to uninstall things like Norton Antivirus Corporate Edition, Internet Dowload Manager but still no luck.

The very strange thing is that it is a fresh installation, I don’t understand what is going on.

I don’t know (don’t think so but don’t want to miss anything) if it has something to do but is a blogspost blog, and the CNAME record for WWW so it could be hosted on blogspost is pointing to
Please note that anyone else worldwide can access without any trouble.

I don’t know what else to do, Hopefully anyone can help me out to know what can be wrong.

I´ve checked the Hijackthis report with the Analyzer suggested on and everything was good.

Thanks in advance for your help

The address is www . t e c h l a t i n a . c o m (Computing . net) changed the link so there where no active links. just remove the spaces from the URL I mention on the begining of this text.

After all I posted do you really think my problem is a miss spell? :)

No.The spell is correct. My point is that i can reach the site directly from the address bar if i put the name techlatina or on a search but unable if i use the one that you write here.So if this is your address for reach your acc. directly maybe there is a conflict on the server.Try yourself.Go to the add. bar of your browser and type techlatina or or do a search you will find that is reachable.

Ive just been 1 hour on the phone with a Cisco Support guy. The problem seems to be the router. The strange thing is that only happens to one website all other websites seem to work fine. They are going to investigate on the case because is very strange. Ideas are welcome. Thanks!
