That could be the result of a number of things, however, the first thing you want to ensure is that you haven’t blocked access to the website through your browser, to do this, access Internet Options, in Control Panel. Once there, click on the Security Tab, then click on the Restricted Sites Icon, and then click on Sites. This will bring up a small Restricted Sites applet; make sure the website URL is not in the list, if it is remove it.

If the website is not there, then it’s possible that your router is blocking access to the site, however, if your able to access the website on another laptop through the same router, then that is unlikely the case.

I’d recommend trying a different browser, if that doesn’t work, reinstalling your current browser. Lastly, you may want to check your HOST file. You can access it by clicking on Start -> Run, then typing in CMD and clicking on OK.

Once Command Prompt loads up, type in:

notepad c:/Windows/System32/drivers/etc/hosts

Check the HOST file and make sure the URL of the website your trying to access is not there. If it is, delete it and save the file.

Other things you can look at is malware/spyware, consider using Spybot and Malwarebytes, running a full scan on both.
