Cannot delete folder Dc39

June 13, 2011 at 22:28:38
Specs: Windows XP, 2.5 GhZ
When I empty my Recycle Bin, I get the error, "Cannot delete folder Dc39" when that folder doesn't show up anywhere. I searched for it and couldn't find it. Any clues as to what might be going on?

May be a coincidence, (though I doubt it) but there is a Trojan named Dc39.exe. Have you recently had any malware issues? Start off by doing a full scan with Malwarebytes & see if that turns up anything.

I have already scanned my computer with the following:
Malwarebytes
Housecall
AVG ( I wish I didn't because it's still somewhere on my computer)
ComboFix
Karpesky
RKill

My Recycle Bin looks empty, but if I do delete something and then empty the Recycle Bin it says it is unable to delete folder Dc39

I'm just about ready to do a Debug, FDISK, Format and reinstall my OS.

I'm having no other problems (that I know of).

I have no idea what I did but my recycle bin is now empty and that stupid folder is gone for good.
