What can I do if my administrator file is corrupted? I cannot access any of the files in it. I have made entrance into C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator but after that all the files: Desktop; My Documents; Local Settings; Recent; Start Menu;...etc, everything is visible but "Access is denied". I have right clicked on all and individual files and then clicked on "properties" and I am not allowed to change the "read-only" check box. Under "Sharing" I am unable to apply the "share this folder" box when chosen. Access is denied. For adding a User Group, access is denied. How do I do this? How do I change the accessability of these files?

why aren't you logging on as administrator which would allow you full access to the files?

I am logged in as administrator with my administrator password.
