Specs: Windows XP2, intel pentium R 1500mhz, 504MB ram
I'm having problem with my Samsung Laptop with updated Window XP2 version, I can no longer install any software programs such as itunes, ccleaner, xvid, vlc, etc.etc., although everything works perfectly fine and i can download softwares but when i start to run the installation through wizard window, all of the sudden the process hanged-up just like it nothing happens.

Please help me, i need to install my itunes and Photoscape photo editor.

Im not a pc geek, so if you can help me with step by step instruction since i know some basic pc configurations.

Thanks much!

Might look at event viewer logs next time you try to install something. It may provide the clues.

Can't tell if it is hardware or software at this point without some other tests.

Why did it take me over a year to phone in a problem to ATT?

First of all I would recommend that you update to SP3 plus any updates available after that.
