Can I disable list and detail view?

Specs: Windows XP
Hi all, we have issues when people in the office use list view or details view to browse shared directories, people are accidentally dragging and dropping folders into neighbouring folders. To decrease the liklihood of this happening, I'd like to force them to use large icons when browsing the network in windows explorer. Is this possible?

quackles, SWAG, never tried it so dunno, but seems to me you could leave things as they are so the folks with a legitimate reason could still do what they need, they just couldn't alter anything by simply locking the folder(s) to editing and only letting admin. users unlock them.

Ed, I've tried that, but everyone needs access to write to the folders, to create new folders underneath.. I wasn't able to get the right mix of permissions using windows. Long term, I'm looking into an EDMS to replace the current setup, but in the meantime, the boss just wants something done to keep things from getting worse.

quackles, same thought, different way of doing it- What if each person who alters a file must C/P the original (locked) folder and edit his copy, then submit the altered copy to just one person who can edit the original to incorporate changes? That'd remove the randomness and at least let you place blame.
