Yeah, it explains very little but if you want to auto login or bypass any of the welcome screens, do a search for TweakUI. A great program that adds all sorts of great options to XP.

Oh, ok - There is probably a lot of (configuration-)settings and options in XP I don't know about. I did not know that it's possible to get to the logon box by ctrl+alt+del. There is probably several web-sites with information about XP settings, options and so on - do any of you know a site you would recommend ?? I will try the TweakUI program - I have heard about it for some years ago I think, but have forgot it since then. Well, thanks to both of you so far !! M. Gitt - Denmark

Open up the User Accounts window (type: nusrmgr.cpl as a Run command), go to "Change the way users log on or off," and uncheck "Use the Welcome Screen." That will set the login dialog screen to be default. If you're using the Welcome Screen and don't have a user account password, the Welcome Screen should be skipped. If you're using the login dialog screen, I think you'll still have to press OK.

You don't need some cheesy tweak program.
