Blue screen crash and need to run chkdsk!

I dont know / I DONT KNOW

Specs: Windows XP Proffesional 32-bit
Basically my computer has began to blue screen crash on loading Windows XP...

The second problem is that neither USB keyboards are now working on it, however they work on this laptop. One option would be to get hold of a PS2 keyboard, but i'd rather be able to fix it without the hassle of doing that.

What i need is to be able to make a bootable CD, which will run the file chkdsk.exe without me having to press a key (as clearly i can't).

Any help would be much appreciated

Search "Running Chkdsk from the Recovery Console". You can use any xp cd that is a real xp cd. Some recovery cd's may work.

If you want you can build a barts cd.

Does the usb keyboard work in the bios?

If not, blue screen along with usb ports not working indicate to me you have had a hardware failure which is resulting in the blue screen.

Have you tried coming up in safe mode? I see no mention of that in your post.
