Blinking Orange Light

Specs: Windows XP SP3, Intel P4 3.4 GHz
I have a Dell Optiplex GX520. When I start it up, it comes on, working perfectly for about 30 minutes and then the screen goes black and the power button goes to a blinking orange/amber light. It seems as though it's hibernating even though I've changed the power options to make it never do that. I also revoked its ability to hibernate. It's under warranty for another month and I'd like to get it fixed as soon as possible. I've seen no conclusive evidence of what could be causing this. Hypotheses range from firmware problems to a broken power supply, but I have no evidence of any of these. I can't wake it from this state, I have to hold the power button until it turns off.

Did you also check the BIOS settings for the power management?

No. But I've read other threads where people with the exact same problem did that with no success.
