THE SYSTEM IS AN ED 878AA. AS PRODUCED IT HAS A 200GB HARDDRIVE. I WANT TO REMOVE IT AND INSTALL A 500GB HARD DRIVE. IN ADDITION I WANT TO ADD A HIGHER WATTAGE POWER SUPPLY, AND TAKE THE RAM TO AT LEAST 2 GB
according to this the 2gb of ram should work. you need DDR 1 and probably low density (thats important).http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/...
' I WANT TO ADD A HIGHER WATTAGE POWER SUPPLY"
why, unless you have a good reason its a waste of money."I WANT TO REMOVE IT AND INSTALL A 500GB HARD DRIVE"
if you need more storage, you could just get an external drive.larry
I agree with larryf215 but he forgot to ask you to please turn off the Caps Lock! Here's your system specs & motherboard specs:

If you need more storage space, why not just add a 2ndary HDD?
