autoexe.bat file that calls .class file

Specs: Windows XP
i want to write an autoexe.bat file that will call .class or any file such that it should get copy into my computer and all this thing should happen in the background.will u plz help me out as i m very new into it....

I suspect you meant autoexec.bat not 'autoexe.bat'.

You're wasting your time playing with that.

The logical thing is to write a batchfile and then call it upon bootup (by putting a shortcut to it in your Startup folder) or by using the Task Scheduler.

I'm not sure about a .class file, I have no idea what that is, but if you were wanting to run another batchfile from inside the first one you would use the call command.

Thnks for the above acknowledgment but it dint solved my problem..see i want to write batch file and small program with any name into pendrive so that as soon as i put my pendrive into any machine batch file should call that program and it should get copied into that machine...i want u to help me out in writing batch file...ur help is needful.

I think what you need is an autorun.inf file. I'm guessing, because I disabled autorun a long time ago.

What exactly is it that you wish to be able to copy into any machine and should run in the background?

i hv been given to do a project calld device tracker such that if i insert my pendrive into any computer then as i said that batch file should call program and that program should get copied into computer and from ther it should send an email to predefined email so that from that email we can trace on which computer our pendrive is inserted....so now what i want is that batch file should call some program
