audio codec packard bell

Specs: Windows XP, 256
hi.I have a packard bell imedia 5054 .I had windows re installed but now my speakers do not work.This happened a few years ago,Im sure i need to download an audio codec or driver but cant find it after googling.Does anyone know of a link where I can find a driver or codec for the Imedia 5054.

You should be able to get the audio driver from the Packard Bell site.

thanks for the reply.I have tried the packard bell site and there dosent seem to be a stright forward link for the imedia 5054. There are links for an imedia and the letters pn followed by some numbers.there are a number of these so i guess i have to try each one as I cant tell which one suits the 5054

aha,it seems i did. So I followed the link,I was still expectiing a simple one for imedia 5054 but theres a lot of options. eventually found the driver I needed. Im back in action. Thanks again.Result!
