Heres the deal, and thanks in advance for any help, I really do appreciate it.

I have spent the last several days going through forums, the ATI website, the

Using the Mobility Modifier, uninstalling/reinstalling all sorts of ATI drivers

to get this card working again...but still am stuck with a non working ATI RADEON

MOBILITY 7000 64MB PCI with TV/OUT , just comes up as exclamation point in device

manager but says ATI RADEON on it. I dont want to just buy a new one because I

know this one works and its a low profile card in a computer without anything but

a PCI port (NO PCIE or AGP on this thing). I am running Windows XP Pro with

I have used the catalyst uninstaller to completely clean up the registry, and

install from scratch, I have used several different versions of the catalyst

software, from version 9 all the way back to veresion 5. I have used the

Modifier to modify the INF files and rerun the catalyst software, still keep

getting errors that setup cannot find specified hardware.

I have tried browsing manually for the file by right clicking/update/driver/choose

and drilling down to the INF in the c:\ati\support\xxxx, it finds Radeon, I

select and it acts like it installs but at the end it says to reboot, I say

reboot, but when it comes back up, still have the exclamation point and catalyst

software will still not run.

I have followed instructions to a T on this site:

By the way this is a desktop, I had it working originally when I bought it but it

was a big hassle just like it is becoming now...., no updates have been made

since, the computer basically just sits there unless I watch a movie off of it.

Just one day came home and it simply didnt work and then found that the driver

was missing or messed up after plugging into a monitor with the onboard video.

Here is all the info off of the card itself, and the video chip:

M6-P (on the large chip under heatsink)
N625 REv. 01

Thanks again for any help!
