Annoyance at Boot

Specs: Windows XP SP2, Intel Dual Core/2 GB
I am running XP SP2 and when I boot up, before going directly into Windows, it asks me which user to log in as. There is only one user defined, and it lists only the one user, so why should I have to select. This is an annoyance that is only happening on one of my machines. What needs to be changed? Thanks.

If you have Net Framework 1.1 in Add/Remove Programs, then you have to Update it here ---
The Welcome to Windows screen appears when you start Windows XP after you install the .NET Framework 1.1

In Control Panel,
click User Accounts,
then "Change the way users log on or off",
check mark both items--
"Use Welcome Screen", and
"Use Fast User Switching"

Also to say if you have Guest Account showing at
Log on, then turn it off.

In User Accounts,
click Guest Account,
then click "Turn off Guest Account".
