Please help I am trying really hard to change my computer back to normal. I can't do system restore. I was cleaning the registry then all of a sudden all my files were cut then I restarted the computer then all my files were changed to .lnk.

I already tried that. Not working. Only Internet Explorer is working. The whole problem is Adobe Reader. I can't get rid of it. Everytime I try to open it I have a file error. I can't scan the computer I can't do nothing. I have HKEY Registry errors. I ran in safe mode still can't do nothing. I can't do system restore or anything.

NOTHING!!!

I scanned a registry cleaner then HKEY was one of the errors then everything started to cut. When I relogged on everything was in .lnk.

It keeps saying:

Adobe Reader could not open 'exefix.reg' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged(for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded).

Every file I open it says:

This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the folder options control panel.

I can only access Folder Options or Fonts in Control Panel and Internet Explorer.
