Adobe doesn't work anymore.

Specs: Windows XP
On wednesday everything was fine, but since thursday, my adobe flashplayer hasn't been working and I don't understand why. I've been trying to get into a website, but suddenly, it's not working anymore.

So, you'd say, try to install it again. Well, the problem is, I can't. Not only doens't the flashplayer work, I can't even get on the adobe website, not any version of it. Not on IE or on Chrome.

Maybe it's my internetconnection, because I'm on the laptop and the normal PC has the same problem. My dad's laptop, with a different internetconnection, doesn't have the problem.

I just don't understand it. Everything was working fine up until thursday. Does anybody have ANY idea whatsoever as to what this is or how to fix it? Help would be much appreciated.

I'm a computernoob. I don't even know how to uninstall the flashplayer; I can't even find it. I'm pretty sure I have one, because before thursday, I never had a problem with it. And I just tried to install another one. So there should really be one somewhere. Oh. And I just found out my laptop's a Windows 7, instead of an XP. Don't know if that makes any difference. Our regular PC is an XP, I think, and I have the same problem there.

Can't get on the adobe website, so that's not really of any help. Tried to follow the uninstall link, but that doesn't work. I don't think that's it, though.
I have the problem on 2 different computers and the only thing that connects them is the internet, I think. I thought about doing a systemreboot on the laptop, but if I have the same problem on my computer, it can't be a weird file I installed by accident.

I think I'll try calling my cablecompany tomorrow. See if they know what's wrong.
