Hi,

Please help. The "Add/Remove Windows Components" feature in "Add/Remove Programs" does not work on my machine. Once I click it, I get error message: "Setup was unable to open informatioin file msslight.inf" "The application cannot be initialized".

I googled the problem, found varous advices online but nothing works.

Thank you!

Another way is to reinstall Microsoft Silverlight & try again.

Or, Windows Cleanup utility helped a lot of people

uninstall Microsoft Silverlight

Hi,

Thank you! I tried both the CD option (it gives the same error message) and removing/reinstalling Silverlight but none of the two works.
