Acer Aspire One D255 SATA AHCI Driver Win XP

That has nothing to do with Acer eRecovery. It's the device driver for the hard drive controller on the motherboard.

Acer eRecovery should be on the Start Menu in All Programs >> Acer.
If Windows won't start for some reason other than faulty hardware, eRecovery can also be invoked during the boot process by pressing a certain key or a combination of keys (see the user manual).

Thanx,

The Acer manual I have only speaks of Android, which appeared all over the place but now disappeared off the HD.

Also I had an ACER directory + ACER in program files but they also disappeared

Downloaded the manual but says, like you, look for "Start Menu in All Programs Acer" & nothing of the kyes to press on bootup.

My AVG free found no virouses. .........nick
