What is a DM maithord (method?). I think you need to be a bit more specific.

DM maithord = Disk Management method?

Open Diskmgmt.msc - hilight the disk, click All Tasks>Format

But Afaik will not work if you try to format the system disk/partition or a disk/partition in use by the system.
