What does electrocardiography has to do with Windows XP? Did you also posted similar question asked in our DOS Forum earlier this month?

There would be a lot of dead people if they ever tried to use Microsoft's products.

VXworks and maybe QNX.

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10

I didn't know basic ECG machines had software. I thought they measured electrical activity of the heart.

Now if you are talking about something more complex.

I suggest you check out Healthcare company's like Phillps, GE, Siemens, or Toshiba.

This link mentions XP,

I haven't done the Sensis product course, but as far as I know, it uses Xp, but the Application is syngo.

I'm curious, why do you want to know?

Before posting try google. Backup. Use anti virus software.
