A problem with symantec

Specs: Windows xp
I was going into a game I play all the time and I keep getting a message that "symantec common client http proxy" on the symantec client firewall which won't let me connect to the game and tells me my internet page can't connect. What does this mean and what should I do to fix it? Thanks

Pateab, my SWAG is you need to authorize the site in Norton's, but see their website and/or Google to be sure.

Ok I'll do that, although I thought I had already allowed this website. And, I was able to play other games from the same website, it was just this one game. Very strange and of course, it was my favorite game! Thanks for answering.

Maybe I didn't say this right. When I go into the game and Java is loading I then get a ? on the Symantec Firewall and when I go into it to see what's up it says Symantec Common Client HTTP Proxy are disabled and should be restarted. Please restart system to restore failed services. Went thru everything I know how to and its still happening. Any other ideas.
