my computer is giving a strange anser [510-splash screen image corrupt]

You can try running the run sfc /scannow , that the System File Checker . It suppose to check all of the originial files and make sure they are in the correct location !

*note the space between the c /
You must insert your recovery CD keep tapping on the shift key to prevent it from auto run !

Before you try the above, first tell us what kind of computer you are running. Is it Compaq or HP PC?

Don't even consider what's written in response 1. The splash screen has nothing to do with Windows...it's part of the BIOS. If the image is corrupt, update the BIOS.
