|I recently cloned my HD onto a newer HDD and while using the newly cloned drive, I noticed that there was a white box in the middle of my desktop about 1x1 in. Whenever I open windows that overlap this area in the middle of my screen the white box takes on whatever image or text overlapped it. For example I opened an image of the American Flag and now I have a small red and white 1x1 square in overlapping all windows/folders currently open. |
I thought this may be an issue because of the cloned HD, but when I booted off of the old HD, the problem was there as well.
Now I've read that unchecking all boxes in the Desktop>Properties>Desktop Tab>Customize Desktop>Web Tab, will fix this issue, but that is not the case for my system.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, this is an annoyance beyond belief
