Specs: Windows Vista
I am having problems with my vista not logging off. I have to hit the power button to turn off and restart. I have worked with a tech at microsoft with no success. I want to reformat and zero out my hard drive and reinstall vista.

Thanks

The standard procedure to "zero" a hard drive is ...

1. Boot to the CD.
2. Format the HD.
3. Install Windows.

Mind telling us what is the make of this computer?
