Specs: Windows Vista
After installing windvd and the netflix thing for
windows media center I decided I would restart
my laptop. Now it wont go past the loading
screen with the bars and it restarts again over
and over. I figure it's a system 32 file thats the
problem because it does this even in safe

Can you get to the Last Known Good Configuration option on the boot menu selections? That may be able to get you back in to Windows - depends just how severe the damage is and if it's actually related to your System 32

I tried that before, it still just keeps restarting itself. When i try
safe mode it restarts after loading crcdisk.sys
Im not sure if that file or the one after is the problem. I can still
boot up using a boot up disk that forces it to boot up using the
OS on it which lets me get into the files. I was hoping that if
either of those programs installed anything in the system folders
that i could just delete it or replace it.

Try these options:

Go into System Bios Setup and enable:
ACPI 2.0 Support

Try unplugging the CD/DVD Drive or replacing the Sata Cables

Try unplugging all external USB connections (and plug them back in one at a time when Windows loads

Try updating the Bios

Try Chkdsk /r
From the Vista Bootup Repair command prompt
Or if you don't have the Vista boot cd use this free recovery disc: http://neosmart.net/blog/2008/windo...

Try those ;)

Or even a clean install :)
