Wireless connection on HP Laptop stop working

Specs: Windows Vista
i own a HP G6000 Laptop on windows vista.the wireless connection has stopped working.you can not open the wireless icon in the control panel,also the light which is at the front of the laptop which should be blue when you have a connection is always orange.

if you mean the button at the front of the laptop ,already tried that it makes no differance ,if not that which button

i think the button may be broken hp has problems with little things like that and all newer modles dont have the manual switch they are ither touch icons or completely software controled i sugest you ring hp and see if the know of any problems with your laptop or if they can look at it.

i have owner 3 hp laptops in the past year and a half i only buy them for there good looks and speed if i was only thinking of reliability Hp would not be my choise at all.
