Specs: Windows Vista Home Premium SP2
Hi there,
Most times when I try accessing a folder that has media files (namely music and videos), Windows Explorer will freeze and display the message "Windows Explorer has stopped working."

Every other program I'm using is unaffected, just all the Windows Explorer windows I have open will all freeze and then close.

I'm using Vista Home Premium SP2.
This is the Event Viewer info:

Yes, I have scanned my computer with the AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition 8.5 and I haven't gotten and viruses.
Do you recommend any Anti-Malware software?

Yes, it sounds like the symptoms of a virus or malware to be honest. They're known to cause all kinds of conflict with the explorer - mainly because they're trying to manipulate it behind the scenes.

Download Malwarebytes or Spybot Search & Destroy. Those are good tools for checking for and eliminating nasty apps.

Failing that, you might want to check that everything is okay with your registry. There's also a chance that the freezing could be caused by a bad driver if you've recently installed any new hardware.
