when I am typing on my lap top, at times the cursor jumps back. into other words, happens while in im and write letters. Tried not using the mouse.I am very careful not to let my hands hit anything....what can I do to get this from happening?
Some mouse drivers allow you to configure their sensitivity and some actually have an option to disable the mouse while typing. Look in the Control Panel or for a touchpad icon in the Notification Area (near the clock) for your mouse settings. Apologies if I don't respond to your reply immediately. it even does it when I do not have the mouse pluged in?????
It's a laptop so you have a touchpad located below the keyboard. That's probably what's giving you problems, so check your mouse settings for touchpad sensitivity options. You may even have an option available to disable the touchpad when an external mouse is plugged in. If you use a USB mouse, that would probably work best for you.
