Which version of Photoshop?

Specs: Vista Premium 64-bit, 2 gig
Can anyone tell me if there is a difference between Photoshop CS4 and CS4 Extended as far as using it on Vista premium 64-bit system. I know I cannot upgrade my old Photoshop software on my new Vista Premium OS, but are there problems with CS4 that CS4 extended does not have? Both are for sale on EBAY. I use Photoshop for photo editing only.

the extended version is designed primarily for 3d graphics, special effects and illustration...for graphic designers basically.

if all you use PS for is editing photos, then the standard cs4 is more than enough program for your money.

i have the extended version and havent touched about 50% of its features
