"Same for the other suggestions you have"

1: Run ESET Online Scanner, Copy and Paste the contents of the log please. This scan may take a very long while, so please be patient. Maybe start it before going to work or bed.

You will have to download ESET from a good computer, put it on a flash/thumb/pen drive & run it from there.

Once onto a machine, malware can disable antivirus programs, prevent antimalware programs from downloading updates, or prevent a user from running antivirus scans or installing new antivirus software or malware removal tools. At this point even though you are aware the computer is infected, removal is very difficult.
5: Why does the ESET Online Scanner run slowly on my computer?
If you have other antivirus, antispyware or anti-malware programs running on your computer, they may intercept the scan being performed by the ESET Online Scanner and hinder performance. You may wish to disable the real-time protection components of your other security software before running the ESET Online Scanner. Remember to turn them back on after you are finished.
17: How can I view the log file from ESET Online Scanner?
http://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?pag...
http://www.eset.com/home/products/o...
The ESET Online Scanner saves a log file after running, which can be examined or sent in to ESET for further analysis. The path to the log file is "C:\Program Files\EsetOnlineScanner\log.txt". You can view this file by navigating to the directory and double-clicking on it in Windows Explorer, or by copying and pasting the path specification above (including the quotation marks) into the Start ? Run dialog box from the Start Menu on the desktop.
If no threats are found, you will simply see an information window that no threats were found.

Include letting us know what Window you mean and also give us the exact message you get. Otherwise we are just guessing.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

I have computer that runs Microsoft Vista Home Basic Version 6.0. I am unable to open internet explorer by clicking on the Icon, a window pops up named " view and track your downloads" asking me to run or save the program, no matter what I do it will not open and this window keeps popping up. iexplore.exe is the name of the program, which I assume in IE.only way I can open it is go in my e-mail program, IncrediMail, open a link there and I get access to Internet Explorer. For some reason I can open IncrediMail with the Icon. Most of my programs do the same thing. Internet Explorer is Version 9.0.21.

iexplore.exe is indeed Internet Explorer.

That pop-up should only apply in Internet Explorer, so if it is popping up when you open other programs it is most likely you've picked up a fake AntiVirus.

First download, install, update and run MalwareBytes freebie (green icon top right):
http://www.filehippo.com/download_m...
This can find things your normal AntiVirus might miss. Let it remove all it finds.

Next download ADWCleaner (free) which removes unwanted toolbars:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/dow...
This is just a stand-alone file which you Save (rather than Run) then run it by double clicking the saved file. Do the Scan which will make a Report available so that you can select what it removes. I've always found it safe to run the Clean and let it remove all it finds.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Here are some ways, to see if you can get a Malwarebytes scan.

Try Safe mode as well.

If it won't run, rename the downloaded mbam-setup.exe file to mb.exe to help work around certain malware that will block it from being run.
http://www.spywareinfoforum.com/ind...
If it still will not run.
1: Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features and uninstall Malwarebytes.
Next redownload Malwarebytes but rename it before you download it to your desktop. As you are in the process of downloading when you get to the point that the "enter name of file to save to" box appears, in the "filename" slot, rename mbam-setup.exe to something.exe, then click Save.
If it installed but will not run, navigate to this folder:
2: C:\Programs Files\Malwarebytes' AntiMalware
Rename all the .exe files in the Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware folder and try to run it again.

Best run with Johnw (#6) as he's arrived, rather than my #4. He will take you further with this issue than the two basic programs I suggested.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
