Oops I did mistype it, sorry.

Should be: Generic PnP Monitor on Intel(R) 82945G Express Chipset Family.

The reason I am asking is because I am having a problem with my monitor and feel that it is something to do with an update.

Do you have a restore point prior to the update that you can revert to?

On the 17th May HP had to do a reset to factory settings for me because I was hit by a virus. It has only happened since then. The lower 1/3rd of the screen is offset to the right by 1" and flickering. They did a quick fix by changing the resolution. However I have to scroll every which way to read anything now. I have done a reinstall of driver and everything in the book on personlization. I am still trying to fix this, hence my e-mail to you. I appreciate your assistance very much I am not a computor savvy person (but I am learning a lot). I am an old lady. Thanks again.
